to help handle stress and feel more energised


We created this course to help people tap into a natural resource which, for most of us, can be available 24 hours per day, seven days a week. How we breathe effects almost every aspect of our physical and mental wellbeing. 

Learning to observe our breath, and occasionally regulate it (for example by deepening it) has a profound positive impact on our wellbeing.

Breath work tools are so simple and yet often we don’t use them.

And part of the problem is that heavy workloads and stress means that we get out of the habit of breathing slow, energy restoring diaphragmatic breaths.

Over time our body patterns in a certain way (for example or intercostal muscles between our ribs tighten) and our ability to breathe deeply is adversely impacted.

In this program you will learn breathing techniques which reduce stress and help people feel calmer.  

The program contains guided audio breathing exercises and video explainers.

We also provide tips and ideas for applying the techniques at home and at work to help you feel more confident, energised and focused.

Over the last twenty years I’ve researched and practiced body work, yoga, chi kung, positive psychology and mindfulness. 

I wanted to understand, and learn how to apply, the best evidenced based practices, which build and sustain health.

What can you expect from this course?

 

This program is packed with video presentations, guided breathing exercises, tools and tips for practicing breathing techniques and how to apply them at home, work and the space in between. 

The program includes the following modules:

  • Introduction - how to get the most out of the program and the science supporting breathing techniques
  • Introduction to breathing exercises - guided audio exercises
  • Self-awareness and workplace application tools - reflection on your own resilience levels and ideas for applying techniques at home and work
  • Brain gym section - video explainers about neuroscience research supporting mindful breath awareness
  • Advance breathwork techniques - guided audio exercises
  • Breathing for space - guided audio exercises to help create more space inside ourselves to help handle pain, reduce tension and increase movement

Learn some simple breathwork techniques that you can use to start the day feeling relaxed, refreshed, confident and ready to make the most out of the day and feel well.

Applying the techniques at work


There are some great applications for our techniques to help you get ahead at work. Explore applying the techniques to help handle stress, prepare for a presentation, give coaching feedback to colleagues and collaborate effectively.

 

The techniques also give you the tools to create micro breaks in the day to help you reset, restore and focus.

Resting, relaxing and restoring


How do you unwind at the end of the day? How do you leave work at work so that you are ready to play (particularly if you are working from home)?


Our breathwork techniques provide you with tools to cut off from what you were doing with what you plan to do with family and friends.


The tools are also great to apply in the evening just before bed time to help you sleep better.

Breath work techniques at home and work


In this program we focus on how to embed new circuit breaker habits. We tend to stick to a new program when we find it

meaningful and fun.

We explore how to use breathwork techniques at times when we feel stressed, have too much work and too little time and when we need energy and extra motivation. With practice we can embed breathing techniques into our lives so that they just become a normal every day healthy habits.
